School Supplies
Chair:   Julie Falidino
Description:
This committee is run by two volunteers. We work directly with the SchoolKidz company. We begin by meeting with the principal in March to discuss the time frame for the sale. Then we have the teachers approve their lists for next year. This gets finalized and the sale goes live for about a month. In August, there are two days that are required for the committee members: school supply delivery day and back-to-school distribution day at NBJH which is the week before school actually starts. We need volunteers (about 6 total) to help with the delivery day and the distribution day. This is a job that can definitely be done by someone who works outside the home.
